"SLOD"
Mark Dols is responsible for a new word in the English Language. SLOD. He has a habit of spinning regularly. He also skids a lot. Whilst thinking about his driving style I decided I needed something between Spin & Skid. I came up with SLOD. this is DOLS backwards or Sudden Loss Of Direction. Mark is particularly good at these. ( I reckon I'm just about as good as him though ,but my name isn't as good backwards !)
Mark is one of our Dutch drivers and a jolly good fellow.
He usually runs with a video camera in his car and If I ever work out how to get video footage onto the internet, I will be asking for some of his footage.
I don't think Mark owns a took kit. The only items I have ever seen him use on his car are a compressor and a white T-shirt (doesn't stay white for long though !).
If Mark ever learns to control his Slodding or even stop doing it, he will be a quick driver as he occasionally shows by a top 5 placing
Mark's Car
An interesting mix of body pannels here. It runs with a Sebring front end and an Ashley hard top. I find this a nice mix of pannels which make for a very pretty car. Ian Hulett's 1999 car was also built using these pannels.
