European Speed Limits


The limits/fines shown below, were printed in the June 2001 ADAC magazine. ( ADAC is comparable with the RAC in the UK). All speeds are in KM/H & fines are in Euro.
These limits apply to cars & vans. Different limits may apply for HGV / Lorries.
I make no guarantees on the accuracy of the fines. BUT looking at the table :- the UK, France & Belgium are NOT good places to try your luck !
